About this case
Plaintiffs sued NAR, Keller Williams, RE/MAX, and Anywhere, alleging a coordinated scheme to reduce competition in buyer-agent services that kept buyer-agent commissions and home prices artificially high and steered buyers from lower-commission listings. They asserted multiple federal and state antitrust claims. Keller Williams and RE/MAX deny liability but agreed to settle for $28.5 million and to cooperate. If approved, non-opt-out Class Members who submit valid claims will share the Net Settlement Fund. Approval would resolve claims against Keller Williams and partly against RE/MAX while the case continues against remaining defendants; if not approved, litigation proceeds against all defendants.
