Its legal team, including forensic accountants experienced in detecting financial misconduct, alleges these defendants colluded using computer-assisted, algorithmic betting to disadvantage ordinary bettors in a system that benefits wealthy insiders. The complaint contends AI and related technologies shifted wagering to online accounts, causing the unfair transfer of billions to a small group of inside bettors and the racetrack and platform operators.
