The suit contends toothpaste formulated for and marketed to children and their parents may include concerning levels of lead, arsenic, mercury, and cadmium without consumers’ knowledge, potentially exposing children to adverse health effects from heavy metals. Consumers who purchased Colgate toothpaste unaware of these metals may have rights via the class action.
