Hagens Berman, with co-counsel Crueger Dickinson LLC, has filed a first-of-its-kind antitrust class action against three firetruck manufacturers and the Fire Apparatus Manufacturers’ Association (FAMA), alleging a conspiracy to curtail production and inflate prices, harming fire departments and municipalities nationwide. The suit was filed independently by Hagens Berman without any prior government investigation and is the first legal challenge addressing the effect of high firetruck prices on municipalities.
