About this case

Under a $60.5 million settlement, Tinder will resolve allegations that it imposed higher rates on California subscribers aged 29 or 30 and older for Tinder Plus and Tinder Gold than it charged younger users. The complaint asserts these pricing practices breached California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act and the Unfair Competition Law. The class includes Californians who purchased those subscriptions beginning in March 2015. Tinder denies liability. Eligible class members may receive cash payments based on their total subscription spending.
