Hagens Berman’s data-protection attorneys filed a class-action lawsuit against Laboratory Services Cooperative after it failed to adequately secure protected health and identifying information for about 1.6 million people. Laboratory Services Cooperative collected and maintained sensitive patient data—including from individuals who visited curtained Planned Parenthood centers—and the breach exposed lab test results, insurance details, banking/payment information, and other government identifiers.
