Ashley Furniture, Ashley Global Retail and Resident Home agreed to a $9 million class settlement addressing allegations that certain Ashley, Nectar, DreamCloud and Siena mattresses sold between Oct. 1, 2017 and June 30, 2024 used fiberglass as a fire-retardant that allegedly escaped when covers were removed and harmed consumers. Ashley denies wrongdoing. Affected models are listed on the settlement website. Class members may claim one voucher per affected mattress redeemable at AshleyFurniture.com, NectarSleep.com, DreamCloudSleep.com or SienaSleep.com (no minimum purchase; single transaction; expires one year after distribution). Recipients of email notice need not submit purchase proof; others must provide a receipt, store record, label photo showing SKU/item/serial, or similar documentation. Deadline to submit claims or to opt out/object is July 17, 2026. Final approval hearing is Sept. 24, 2026.
