Hagens Berman and Las Vegas firms Dimopoulos Injury Law and JK Legal & Consulting filed a class-action on behalf of roughly 35,000 attendees of the November 2023 Las Vegas Formula One Grand Prix practice run. The suit alleges that nine minutes into the practice run a manhole cover on the track became dislodged, damaging two racecars and stopping the session. Because F1 offered no compensation to ticketholders, the attorneys assert claims of negligence, breach of contract, and other consumer protection violations.
