Hagens Berman has filed a nationwide class-action complaint against John Paul Mitchell Systems, alleging the company has subjected its products to animal testing since 2001, when it began selling in mainland China. The lawsuit alleges Paul Mitchell cultivated a “cruelty free” reputation and falsely represented that it never tested on animals, and seeks to hold the company accountable for those alleged misrepresentations made for profit.
